I'm here to break that cycle. My journey in the fitness industry spans more than a decade, from working the front desk at gyms to personal training and eventually managing multiple health clubs. I've seen every excuse, every struggle, and every breakthrough. More importantly, I've learned what works, and what doesn't. Training has been my constant for over 20 years, and as a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach through NASM, I combine real-world experience with proven science to get results. Today, I balance running Mind and Matter Fitness with my full-time job as a locomotive engineer. People ask me how I manage both, and the answer is simple: when something matters to you, you find a way. The same discipline that gets me up at 3 AM for a shit is what drives me to show up for the men I coach. But the most important role I play is being a father to my son Miles. Parenting has taught me more about leadership, patience and commitment than any job ever could. Every day, I'm reminded that the examples I set- from how I take care of my body, how I show up for my responsibilities, and how I treat others- is being watched. That's why I'm so passionate about helping men become better versions of themselves. It's not just about looking good and feeling strong... It's about becoming the kind of man who can handle whatever life throws at him and still be present for the people who need him the most.
